KAMPUNG LAUT MOSQUE(KELANTAN)


  • Among the oldest mosque in Malaysia and the Malay Archipelago
  • Its design and architecture is similar to that of Demak Mosque in Java,Kuno Champa Mosque in Combodia,Nat Tanjung Mosque in Pattani and Wadi Hussien Mosque in Narathiward,
  • It was built by the Muslim Missionaries in the 15th century who were travelling between Java and Combodia
  • The architectural design of the mosque with a three-tier roof on top of one one another
  • It was built without using a single nail
